Procom is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Agent to join our team and support our client, a leading utilities provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing internal clients through the procurement of goods and services, strategic sourcing, and cost-saving initiatives. This role includes contract administration, supplier relationship management, supplier diversity planning and outreach, compliance management, inventory management, and overseeing the procure-to-pay cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of Goods and Services: Efficiently source and procure goods and services to meet the needs of internal clients.
  • Strategic Sourcing and Cost Savings: Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and enhance value.
  • Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service and favorable terms.
  • Supplier Diversity Planning and Outreach: Develop and execute plans to enhance supplier diversity and engage in outreach activities.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize costs.
  • Procure-to-Pay Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Engineering, English, Communications, Education, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Procurement, Contract Management, Contract Development, or Paralegal role.
  • Exposure to SAP is required.
