We're searching for a Procurement Specialist to manage from end to end the Indirect procurement process. A successful Procurement Specialist would be focused on operational and tactical procurement within Aurora, ensuring that the company's purchasing needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

In this role, you will

• Execute the full procure to pay cycle from purchase requisition to order fulfillment, including creating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any discrepancies
• Negotiate terms & conditions and prices with suppliers to secure pricing and supply commitment. Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to ensure contract terms are met and services are delivered as agreed.
• Work cross-functionally to understand requirements and business objectives. Execute on sourcing and negotiation strategies that meet those goals.
• Partner closely with our Legal Team and relevant stakeholders to review/draft and finalize legal agreements such as Purchase/Supply Agreements, SOWs, etc.
• Prepare and analyze data to track contract renewals and provide key reports to management
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in indirect procurement

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain (Procurement or Sourcing), at least one year in indirect procurement
• Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Finance, People Operations, Workplace, IT, etc.
• Experience with procurement or ERP systems, as well as ticketing platforms
• Experience in contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong analytical and cost modeling skills, ability to transform data into insight
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
