          As a member of the Complex Contracting Unit, you'll have a direct impact on shaping the strategic direction of State Fund by negotiating agreements that influence major projects within the organization. You'll be at the forefront of helping the organization bring in new technologies and initiatives.

          Key Responsibilities include:
          • Negotiate high-value, high-risk contracts in alignment with legal, financial, and security requirements.
          • Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure agreements meet enterprise objectives.
          • Facilitate the full lifecycle of contracting initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate execution of agreements.
          • Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers as a valued business partner.
          • Lead supplier dispute resolutions and manage relationships with key vendors.
          Desirable Qualifications:
          • Proven experience in negotiating complex agreements and contracts, with the ability to balance risk and business objectives.
          • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including legal, security, and senior leadership, to align contract outcomes with enterprise goals.
          • Strong critical thinking skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
          • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and tasks independently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.
          • Solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies based on changing circumstances.
          • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
          • High attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and drafting agreements to identify risks, inconsistencies, or gaps.

          • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a way that can be understood by a variety of audiences.

                    New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.

                    Working Conditions
