These positions are onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

Aircraft Product Cybersecurity Engineers (across all levels):

The Aircraft Product Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for the product security aspects of the aircraft design at all levels from the top-level system down through the individual components working with the various subsystem Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to achieve aircraft level cybersecurity with an architecture that will provide trust for the next 50 years.

This position requires a broad background in Software Engineering and Systems Cybersecurity Engineering across all Vehicle Management/Avionics and Mission Systems.

What you will be doing as a Product Cybersecurity Engineer, System/Software Design and Integration:

• Participate in the solution development to ensure specified cybersecurity requirements are being met.

• Decomposition and validation of cybersecurity requirements into multiple Systems/Sub-systems/Components to ensure robust cybersecurity throughout the aircraft.

• Modeling and traceability of product cybersecurity requirements, interfaces, and function in CAMEO Systems Modeler.

• Facilitate cybersecurity related architecture decisions and interface evaluations using modeling tools .

• Validation and Verification tracing into the model and test ownership assigned .

• Conduct early lab integration of cybersecurity software services and support higher level integration and analysis at the lab, SIL and Aircraft level.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software/system integration/verification issues.

• Collaborate with Internal and External IPTs, suppliers, customer, and peers to generate and execute projects/design plans and reviews.

• Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.

• Coordinate product cybersecurity design changes with the various IPTs.

• Ensure timely delivery of systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.

Skills You Bring To this Role:

  • Experience in developing, integrating, and testing Systems/Software in an embedded aircraft environment
  • Experience in Software Assurance and DevSecOps
  • Proficient System/Software Integration Engineer, System of Systems (SoS) competent
  • DoDI 8510.01/8500.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge for military platforms, including threat management, mitigation, and the implementation of all applicable controls.
  • System/Sub-System cybersecurity architects that understand redundancy, independence, criticalities, systems separation and dependencies of functions
  • Leadership skills across multiple functions, IPT's and support organizations
  • Aircraft integrator who understands data flow and allocation across multiple design functions
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (CAMEO proficient desired)
  • Knowledgeable DO-178C and DO-254 execution (desired)
  • Experience with MOSA and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE)
  • Communication Standards such as ARINC 429, Mil-Std 1553, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and Networking (TCP/IP, TSN, DDS, SSL/TLS)
  • Security related protocols such as ARINC 653, 615A, and 655-5
  • Experience with implementation in the following areas: user/device authentication, embedded cross domain solutions, tactical cryptographic key management, embedded encryption, or embedded intrusion protection/detection systems


What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
  • At least 2+ years of work experience in aerospace system/sub-system development and integration.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Able to communicate directly with senior leadership inside and outside the company.
  • Self-motivated and able to track and report performance to cost and schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
