Description
In this early-career role, you will apply your mechanical engineering fundamentals to bring a future generation of iPad products to market. Initially working under the guidance and mentorship of senior engineers, you'll rapidly learn to function as an independent and capable member of the team. This includes the following:

- Developing technical knowledge in new areas to understand design constraints and craft creative solutions

- Communicating design intent and inspection requirements with 3D and 2D CAD

- Collaborating cross-functionally with various internal departments, such as Industrial Design, EE, Manufacturing, and technology groups to refine and implement the vision for the product

- Collaborating with outside vendors to optimize designs for function, aesthetic, and manufacturability

- Some of the skills we exercise and develop regularly: tolerance stacks, stress analysis, electro-mechanical integration, design for high volume manufacturability and assembly, prototyping, failure analysis, simple fixture design, metrology, statistical process control

Education & Experience
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
