Position Description:
Develop diagnostic service functions to be used globally in support of Dealers/Customers. Interface with Product Engineering to understand new system requirements and implement robust Open Test Exchange (OTX) routines. Review Part-II documents to understand required Data + Service routines to be implemented • Have the ability to read and interpret CAN data in support of application debug process Manage and understand CAN data to support application development / debug. • Interface with Module supplier to ensure service functions are implemented properly • Implement Module DID's to support datalogger as a diagnostic solution. • Validate solutions using both simulation and on vehicle validation. • Respond to field issues with urgency - compete like a challenger.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of programming concepts ( boolean flags, loops, byte operations, etc) Familiar with vehicle systems
Skills Preferred:
• Strong Program Management skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work with global teams to communicate and agree on desired outcomes.
Experience Required:
Dealership experience, or previous software programming experience
Education Required:
Will consider candidate with Related experience
Education Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Science, or Mathematics
