Product Engineering Lead (remote)

Cognizant Technology Solutions in LSMG is seeking for a Product Engineering Lead who could join our team of Engineering professionals in a permanent role. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing/implementing standards for Continuous Integration tools usage within various environments and industries
  • Be able to effectively communicate with engineering team, product management team, customer support team, as well as business leaders
  • Build monitoring systems that support large SaaS products
  • Provide support to software engineering group, by contributing to implementation of a continuous integration process and automating manual processes.
  • Build and manage project delivery software tools, automated scripts, automated system build processes, and engineering support tools.
  • Create and build deployment platform and processes that scale
  • Write workflows and deployment packages using scripting languages, including but not limited to, PowerShell, Python, Groovy


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience with building CI/CD pipelines for large distributed systems. (Required)
  • Deep understanding of version control systems (git), including branching and merging strategies (Required)
  • Experience with deployment automation tools such as Octopus Deploy, Ansible, IBM UrbanCode (Required)
  • Experience with software package repository tools such as JFrog Artifactory, SonaType Nexus, Inedo ProGet (Required)
  • Excellent understanding of Windows OS, Networking & System Security Fundamentals (Required)
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certification or equivalent 3+ years' experience working with DevOps platforms (Required)
  • Experience using PowerShell, Python, and HCL (Required)
  • Experience with windows software management tools such as Chocolatey, Ninite, Scoop, but not a requirement (Preferred)


Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until Sept 20th 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 -$110,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans
