We are looking for an experienced Product Management Director to lead a team of Business Analysts (BAs) and guide them in the transformation from traditional BA practices to a product management approach. As the Product Management Director, you will help guide the development and optimization of our organization's product offerings.

  • You will ensure the success of large to complex projects, enhancements and production support through direction and oversight of a local or global team of employees and professional services.
  • You will establish a staff of direct reports to meet the evolving needs.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with senior business leaders to ensure the strategic business needs are able to be met with quality. Will gain a deep understanding of the current state operating model, while keeping an eye toward transformation and evolving to modern operating practices over time.) You will report to the AVP - Readiness & Transformation.


What you do:

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a team of BAs, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric thinking. Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and achieve their career goals.
  • Transformation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to transform the BA team into a customer-focused product management organization. Identify gaps in skills, processes, and tools, and establish a roadmap for change
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate current BA practices and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement streamlined product management processes. Introduce agile methodologies and other best practices to enhance product development efficiency.
  • Partner Agreement: Collaborate with teams to align product management strategies and goals. Foster communication and collaboration across departments to ensure successful product launches.
  • Product Launch and Lifecycle Management: Oversee the successful launch of new products or product updates, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies and timely execution. You will monitor performance and lead ongoing improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Strategic agreement and planning - Participate with TSEO and other teams and work with IT and business leadership to contribute to the IT strategy, project portfolio plans, division, department and individual goals. You will provide professional and technical knowledge of team with educational workshops and conferences, professional publications and participation in professional societies.


What you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial, insurance, technology or operations leading; successful strategic leadership, business acumen, and experience digging into customer feedback, following up to further define issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field or equivalent work experience. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Management Director or similar leadership role, overseeing and transforming teams.
  • You will understand the product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • You will be strategic, prioritize projects, and have an immediate impact in a changing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile product development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform product development.
