We have a long term Contract Product Manager position for our Client who will be responsible for product planning, delivery and adoption throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Manager will develop a vision and roadmap for the product, based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.

The Product Manager will work closely with Development/Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and deliver to a consistently high-quality standard. Create a development plan for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, Development/Engineering, and their own experience, and manage its delivery.

The Product Manager will identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and maintain product roadmaps and collateral by the Business team.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
• Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams (Engineering, UX/Design, Analytics etc.), estimating level of effort, identifying dependencies, and resource needs
• Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
• Collaborate with the business to design and document to-be processes, business rules, reports, communications, and API specifications related to the product
• Understand and represent user needs and needs of the business
• Oversee and specify research needed to determine needs and desires of end users
• Capture & prioritize requirements and document into JIRA Epics
• Understand the vision and articulate the business value of the epics created
• Decompose the epics into stories to be developed
• Ensure developers maintain technical documentation
• The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively
• Prototype solutions
• Lead BAs in developing and refining stories to ensure that the stories are ready for development

Skills
• 5+ years experience working in Mortgage industry especially in Loan Originations or Servicing
• Experience building APIs as products in the mortgage industry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, statistics, computer science or other relevant training
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience driving digital product vision and design discussions
• Experience developing digital products and technologies
• Previous experience working as a Product Manager, including experience managing a product roadmap, working with designers and engineers, and writing and refining user stories
• SW Development using agile methodologies
• Experience presenting analytics results and/or project status in clear and concise presentations, such as slides, memos, or reports
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas, such as product management, engineering, business analysis, and UI/UX
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
• Track record of delivering on time and measuring success
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies, including Salesforce, AWS, and PowerBI products
• Experience with Atlassian Jira software, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
