Product Manager (cloud-based products)

Contract to Hire: 6 months and then convert to Direct Hire

Location: Fully remote, but be US based

Pay Rate: $73-$88 hourly on W2, conversation salary target $165k yearly

*Must be able to obtain or transfer a public trust.

Responsibilities:

• Define and support the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable cloud-based products that meet customer needs over time.
• Collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs for cloud platform usage.
• Support the Agile Release Train (ART) in delivering value through the Program Kanban and Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Define releases and Program Increments (PI) priorities, as well as participate in PI planning.
• Manage and prioritize the ART feature backlog, ensuring product completeness.
• Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap, coordinating the work of multiple Product Managers, ARTs, and Suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience building software applications for enterprise-scale systems.
• At least 4 years of people management experience, including relationship building with key stakeholders and working with subcontractor team members in agile development environments.
• Ability to align development efforts to meet end-user needs and customer goals.
• Experience using metrics and data to drive a development team to a desired goal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience creating RACI charts.

Preferred:

• Previous work experience in the Government space is ideal
• Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), particularly as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Knowledge of metadata cataloging and search engine indexing.
• Experience with conflict management between two or more parties.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification (or similar) or similar)

Pay Details: $73.00 to $88.00 per hour
