Our client, a music streaming service in San Francisco, is looking for a mid-level Product Marketing Manager for a hybrid 6-month maternity leave cover. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with Product teams from PRFAQ stage through to consumer launch. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at effectively shipping new features and products. Drawing from your extensive experience, you'll leverage insights to refine and fortify product positioning and messaging strategies in the market. You'll spearhead naming efforts for new products, meticulously develop and maintain detailed Go To Market (GTM) documents, and orchestrate the creation and deployment of marketing assets across diverse channels. This role demands strategic prowess, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of both product development and marketing principles. This is a 6-month maternity leave cover than requires 3-days/week onsite in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Product teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from PRFAQ stage to consumer launch.
  • Design and execute robust marketing campaigns to effectively ship new features and products.
  • Utilize market insights to refine and strengthen product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Lead naming efforts for new products, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market positioning.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Go To Market (GTM) documents outlining strategy, objectives, tactics, and timelines.
  • Coordinate the creation and deployment of marketing assets across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing platforms.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing roles, preferably in technology or entertainment.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing new products or features.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from market data and customer feedback.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for crafting compelling narratives and messaging.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and marketing analytics platforms is desirable.
