THE ROLE:

Our Healthcare consulting practice is looking for a Product Owner to join our journey.

We're looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work as a member of a large scrum team and have the technical credibility to drive constructive discussions and decisions on priority, interdependencies, and related processes
• Translate high level requirements into products and product features. Create work items in stories in backlog. Work closely with engineering and QA to validate that the work item meets acceptance criteria
• Develop user stories from solution architect's design and customer requirements including details of the data interfaces within the different layers of the data platform
• Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders and create requirements that meet the product and business needs/vision
• Prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
• Bring technical expertise to key initiatives such as 3rd party application integrations, user administration & management, user authentication, platform security initiatives, etc.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Product Managers on resources, scope, prioritization, processes, and deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a preferred area of study in technology, business, project management
• 8+ years experience as a product owner or technical product owner
• 5+ years experience with software delivery
• 3+ years of hands on experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scrum Agile development
• Prior experience working with healthcare data on analytical platforms
• Familiarity with big data distributed systems, container orchestration (Docker, K8), and cloud technologies (AWS/ Azure/ GCP)
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and scrum teams with demonstrated knowledge of Agile/SCRUM
• Own and prioritize team engineering roadmaps and create product vision
• Strong written skills showing the ability to convey functional details accurately in a well structured and precise manner

• Ability to develop professional relationships
• Ability to be a high-impact player on multiple simultaneous engagements
• Willingness to travel
