Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Product /Process Engineer in Lancaster, PA to work for an innovative and growing medical device manufacturer. The Product /Process Engineer will play a significant role in the design and development of medical device components.

Responsibilities for the Product/Process Engineer include:
• Process improvement and development, equipment support and maintenance, documentation, and training necessary to produce high-quality medical device components.
• Develop and maintain project/work plans, improve equipment and processes.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new products and processes and ensure the creation and maintenance of operational documents.
• Participate in training programs, investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes, and maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications for the Product/Process Engineer include:
• Four-year engineering degree in a related field, with a strong understanding of physics, pneumatics, electrical, and statistical principles
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. You should be proficient in reading and interpreting scientific and technical documents,
• developing training programs and presenting information effectively.
• Strong mathematical skills, including probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry, are essential.
• The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple abstract and concrete variables.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, PDM Vault, MS Excel, MS Word, Master Control, MS PowerPoint, Minitab, and Visio is necessary.
