Description:

Provide technical support to our customers in the Service Station industry through quick problem resolution as part of the Tech Support Team.

I. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure their satisfaction through quick problem resolution
  • Bring the customer's voice alive within the marketing and engineering teams to drive innovation
  • Ensure product quality issues are identified and reported accurately
  • Work closely with other departments to enhance their expertise and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Initiate continuous improvement projects.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and customer skills.


II. Relationships

  • Position reports directly to Ted Ostrowski
  • Position is key member of the Veeder Root Tech Support team.
  • Position interacts with Engineering, Operations, Field Service, Sales and Marketing


III. Measures of Performance

  • Problem Escalations and Resolutions
  • Customer Responsiveness to incoming calls and emails.
  • Ability to learn and support new products


Qualifications:

I. Background and Skill

  • Experience working in a customer facing role, or equivalent experience requiring active communication via phone/email in a problem-solving context
  • Experience in a technical role that requires exposure to troubleshooting or problem solving
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office required.
  • Able to work hybrid to Simsbury CT and scheduled hours .
