The Production Associate I will be responsible for the safe and timely operations in all of the following areas: Laser Marking, Laser Welding, Helium Leak Detection, and the Paint department. This role will require proficiency in several unique areas such as non-destructive testing (NDT), machine operations and painting aerospace components. The amount of time spent in each area will depend on the business needs and scheduling of work through the specific cells.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform rework of nonconforming components
  • Use basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot and solve basic production issues with Team Leader direction
  • Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolution
  • Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare work orders and data sheets for processing
  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes included in aircraft component assembly
  • Help with problem-solving by working with engineering, management, and other cell departments
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Move between workstations as needed
  • Read and understand manufacturing procedures and blueprints
  • Follow written and verbal instruction


Hours: This is a 1st shift position with the potential opportunity to move to a swing shift.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in an assembly atmosphere that requires repetitive work.
  • Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as needed to support product delivery.
  • Ability, with or without accommodation, to perform the essential functions of assembly operations.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respect.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations preferred
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required
