The Production Associate I will be responsible for completing tasks safely and in accordance with the written work instructions. This role will require proficiency in various machine operations (training provided).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand manufacturing procedures
  • Follow written and verbal instruction
  • Report any and all safety and quality incidents to Supervisor
  • Complete work orders and data sheets for processing
  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations included in aircraft component assembly
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Task rotation between workstations as needed
  • Use basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot and solve basic production issues with Group Leader direction
  • Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolution
  • Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate professionally and effectively
  • Use computer to access company provided email and complete computer-based training.
  • When issues arise during production, the Production Associate I is expected to stop all work, notify the Group lead, and participate, as needed, in the investigation.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work in an assembly atmosphere that requires repetitive work.
  • Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as needed to support product delivery.
  • Ability, with or without accommodation, to perform the essential functions of assembly operations.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respect.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations preferred
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required
