Production Control Supervisor, Model Y, Recycling

The Production Control Supervisor is a member of the Recycling Team. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in the implementation and application of production systems in a manufacturing environment. Must have a broad background with the ability to work with Engineering, Production Associates, Quality, and Suppliers across a wide variety of issues/corrective actions identified in production and field performance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Tesla and outside.



Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for team of Recycling Specialists
• Read and interpret basic architectural drawings
• Assist in the development plans for future expansion of the non-regulated waste management team
• Assist and maintain relationships in negotiating commercial rates of scrap materials
• Physical activities: Work may require lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting and operating heavy equipment including cardboard bailers

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years prior recycling, custodial or grounds maintenance experience. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• CDL Class A
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint)
• A strong work ethic, proven follow-through skills, and a "can-do" attitude are a must
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment under constantly changing priorities and demands
• Excellent listening skills, organizational skills, and strong communications skills. Must be able to collaborate with other teams, across the factory
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective device
