Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision, ensures that machine operators have all the tools
and information necessary to meet production requirements. Monitors work
orders to ensure they make it through the production cycle in time to meet
shipping requirements.

Position Accountabilities:

1. Oversees and monitors production to ensure quality standards are met, and
performs verifications and inspections of products and machines.
2. Assists in scheduling work orders for production and interfaces with
engineers, the Quality department, and Planners, to ensure the timely
production and shipment of products.
3. May perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
4. May operate production machinery when there are personnel shortages or
changes in scheduling.
5. Documents all department functions and reviews/maintains the daily Time
and Attendance recordkeeping system for the Focused Factory.
6. Assists in the training and development of operators.
7. Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations. Conducts
EH&S self inspection and safety huddles in areas of responsibility. Reads all
MSDS' and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling
and storage requirements.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
9. Ensures that scrap collection in their Focused Factory is being properly
controlled and disposed.

Position Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION • High School or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE • 5-8 years

• Use Computer Software (MSWord,
Excel, E-Mail, Schedule Plus, QAD.
• Calculator
• Inspection Equipment (Micrometer,
Comparator, Dial Caliper)
• Machine (header, thread roller, final
assembly, chucker, four-slide)
• Communication skills
• Leadership skills

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION • Leads up to 18 hourly employees.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
