Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Production Supervisor. This role s upervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. What you will do:
  • Monit ors production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules
  • Ass ists in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements
  • Assures safety and product quality while improving production procedures
  • Coordinates work flow with the various departments involved
  • Reports damaged and defective equipment to management
  • Tr ains other employees in day to day procedures
  • M aintains quality/quantity standards regarding output
  • A nalyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs
  • I nterprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
  • P lans flow of materials through department according to work orders
  • I nterfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
  • I nspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications
  • D irects workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards
  • E stablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
  • D evelops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
  • S uggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
  • A nalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • M aintains time and production records
  • A ssists with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience
