Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely, efficient, and in-spec production of organometallic compounds to meet customer expectations.

In your future role as Production Supervisor you will

  • Direct production functions to meet production requirements while directing personnel for safe manufacturing of organometallic compounds
  • Coordinate with maintenance to resolve mechanical difficulties and equipment breakdowns
  • Coordinate with QC lab regarding out-of-spec product
  • Coordinate with Finishing regarding storage of product
  • Perform duties on the site’s Emergency Response Team
  • Facilitate Annual Quality Plan & related total quality management activities of the production department
  • Maintain effective administration of SAP through timely entries and daily review of (COGI)
  • Close production orders & ensure accurate inventory control for product and raw materials
  • Understand and help implement site’s Operating Policy and HSSE goals and objectives
  • Support & participate in on-going HSSE improvement activities
  • Be aware of potential health, safety, security and environmental impacts in area of responsibility and the consequences if an upset occurs
  • Participate in site’s on-going Pollution Prevention Process
  • Understand and help implement the site’s quality policy, quality goals & objectives, and the Quality Improvement Process (MTQ)
  • Be fully aware of your specific quality assurance responsibilities
  • Be familiar with site wide document control, internal quality audits, corrective action, non-confirming product and record keeping procedures
  • Be sure employees under supervision, if applicable, are aware of and are adequately trained in quality procedures
  • Other duties & assignments as directed by manager


We believe you bring

  • 3+ years of production experience
  • Knowledge of operating procedures and chemical reactions
  • Good computer programming skills
  • Able to work in a chemical plant environment
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs and climb ladders
  • Must be able to wear steel toed shoes & hard hat
  • Must be mechanically minded & analytical
  • Skills/understanding in SAP
  • Understanding of process safety & PSM including the OSHA 14 elements of process safety and Nouryon 21 building blocks
