Position Description:
Job Description Current operational hours are from 5:00PM until 3:30AM. Some weekends and/or Holidays will be required. Must be able to work regular overtime and any shift. This position is not eligible for remote work. What You Will Do: • Supervise 15-35 hourly UAW employees is all aspects of operation: Inbound, Outbound, Cross-Dock, Inventory. • Deliver on objectives including, but not limited to: Safety Metrics, Quality Metrics, Inventory Accuracy, LPMH, Cycle Times, Vacation Scheduling, Absenteeism, LPMH, Process Adherence, Process Improvements • Champion a strong UAW relationship through the application of the UAW Contract, while motivating and counseling UAW workforce as required • Facilitate start-up meetings, effectively communicate with team members and document were applicable • Champion and lead initiatives to achieve a best-in-class Redistribution Center through process improvements and process adherence • Effectively and confidently communicate with all stakeholders of the operation • Putting the customer first and striving to treat them as family
Skills Required:
• High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. • Minimum 1 year leadership experience. • Minimum 1 year work experience in similar positions. • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders. • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations. • Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience Required:
• Previous UAW/Distribution/Logistics/Supply Chain supervisory experience preferred.
Education Required:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
