Job Summary:

This is a part-time position (0.20 FTE) at the rank of Professional Research Assistant (PRA) Level 2, at the Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH), and Center for Global Health. The position will assist with Center for Global Health's Preparedness projects. The PRA will support the coordination and logistics of assigned projects and will participate in manuscript/reports preparation including literature review, analyzing data and draft writing. This position may become full time if work load increases. Working for the Center of Global Health can be highly rewarding in improving health outcomes globally, espscially in underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the coordination and logistics needs of the projects
  • Provide the necessary literature review, data analysis and drafting of manuscripts
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • MPH degree or related master's degree in health policy or a related field
  • Experience in supporting project coordination and logistics


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in health policy and data sharing
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individuals with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Support the coordination and logistics of assigned projects
  • Participate in manuscript or reports preparation including literature review, analyzing data and draft writing
  • Ability to review and summarizing and analyzing data
  • Ability to assist with data logistics, reports, and agreements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$50,410 - $52,000 for 1.0 FTE

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
