The Program Coordinator is accountable for the ongoing development, planning, implementation and evaluation of all Cancer Services Program Partnership (CSP) & other grant related aspects of the Cancer Prevention arm of the C.R. Wood Cancer Center. This individual will also serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, consultants, partners, and providers for contract activities and communications. The Program Coordinator should demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire others, convey knowledge and enthusiasm for the program to partners, communicate effectively within the community and with regional and state partners, and plan and implement the required scope of work as needed to meet program outcomes and performance measures. The contractor will identify and hire staff, contract with potential subcontractors/consultants or engage strategic partners to ensure persons with the appropriate competencies implement the full scope of required activities, ensuring the following functions are fulfilled

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $58,458.40 to $73,403.20 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in healthcare related field or Associates plus 5 years related experience required
- Program Development experience - minimum two years preferred.
- Community Health Experience - three years experience in community organization, outreach program development or cancer prevention preferred
- Community Public Educator Presentation Experience - minimum one year preferred
- Grant writing experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
- Current New York State driver's license
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership capabilities.
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate services and educational programs.
- Ability to present Community Education Programs.
- Ability to promote and expand existing services in the community.
- Ability to accurately collect, analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to work with current computer programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to problem solve/trouble shoot in program activities.
- Ability to write grant applications.
- Ability to collaborate with members of work teams in CSP and other community health grant programs of the NYSDOH, both within GFH and at the state level.
