Job Summary
The Program Integrity Team Supervisor supervises the development and administration of program integrity related policy within the Disability Services Division. The position is responsible for:
- Identifying, planning and organizing the program integrity policy team's work
- Hiring and supervising program integrity policy staff, for assigning work to staff, for monitoring completion of work, and developing staff capabilities
- Assist with the division's legislative processes including development of legislative proposals and analyses of legislation
- As a member of the DSD Leadership Team, define and manage the division's strategic plan and direction and related work activities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience*
*Leadership experience can include:
- Experience as a supervisor, leadworker, team lead, project lead;
- Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4);
- A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include:
- 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions
- 100+ hours per year time commitment
AND
4 years of specialized professional work experience in policy and/or program management of health and long-term services and supports that demonstrates:
- Experience and/or knoweldge of Minnesota's home and community based service system including rate methodologies, financing, systems and regulations
- Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of state budgeting and legislative processes
- Ability to conduct policy, program and budget analyses including evaluation
- Ability to bring complex projects to completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating a work environment that supports staff engagement, empowerment and development.
- Experience identifying and addressing implications of policy on equity, diversity and inclusion
- Strong human relations and communication skills; communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing; respond openly to requests and concerns for internal and external stakeholders
- Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
