Program Management Data Scientist

A Snapshot of your Day
The Program Management Data Scientist will manage and support the identification of internal data sources and datasets relevant to Order Management, operations and logistics! This role ensures relevant data is available in time through export files, interfaces or via dashboards by driving internal initiatives and productivity improvements. In addition, actively participate in various data science communities and prepare internal trainings to transfer knowledge to other data experts (i.e., data analysts and data engineers). Key tools used in this role include, but are not limited to, Alteryx, SAP, VBA programming, Python, Tableau, Mendix.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Implement data pipelines (data ingestion, data cleansing, and data preparation for analysis) for the creation of datasets used for analyses and scenario planning.
• Define data requirements for analysis (e.g., accuracy, consistency).
• Request and initiate internal data correction, if required (e.g., data is incomplete and incorrect).
• Build and maintain macros/models to support community development.
• Establish operationalization through automation (e.g., drive robot reporting initiatives, set up model repositories).
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders (model outputs and data visualizations).
• Validate model outputs with subject matter experts.
• Send out regular reports and communicate findings to management.
• Manage relationships to internal data providers/sources and the data scientist/automation community.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent (work/education) experience in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics); 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience developing data science solutions in a business context and experience in data science-related programming.
• Strong knowledge in Alteryx (plus: Core or Advanced certification). Experience in SAP and data structures, programming e.g., VBA scripting, Python. Plus: experience in Tableau, Mendix. Able to communicate at different levels with partners and to create appropriate data visualizations (Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Tableau).
• Background in general data science topics (e.g., data preparation, mathematical foundations, programming) - Plus: Prior exposure to AI topics.
• Experience in technical implementation of data science applications, frameworks, and data pipelines - Plus: Basic understanding of software development principles (e.g., modularity, testing, version control), common databases and paradigms, and data management practices.
• Keen interest in new technologies and ability to create prototypes - Plus: Background in using common analytics tools for collaborative project work!

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
