We are seeking an exceptional and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and lead the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models to analyze and optimize home internet and WiFi services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis, machine learning, common foundational models, and statistics, coupled with a good understanding of the home networking industry.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and customer behaviors that impact home networking performance and predict future outcomes..
Develop, and implement large data machine learning and GenAI models to predict customer behavior, network performance, and potential service issues.
Implement and monitor real-time data pipelines and dashboards to enable continuous monitoring and analysis of the home network performance trends and patterns
Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to gather requirements, translate data insights into actionable business strategies, and drive product innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

A postgraduate degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in data science, data analysis, machine learning, and statistics.
Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions for business.
Strong programming skills in programming languages such as Python, or Java
Experience with big data technologies and data analysis software like R or MATLAB
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or similar cloud technologies.
Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis.Understanding of Linear Algebra and Calculus will be a plus
Knowledge of various algorithms like linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, support vector machines, clustering algorithms, and neural networks is a must
Ability to build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to address specific business problems.
Understanding of deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs) and their applications is a must
Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), image processing techniques, and big data stacks like Hadoop or Apache Spark is highly desirable
Experience with the popular machine learning and GenAI platforms and models including AutoML solutions such as Amazon SageMaker, DataRobot, and H2O
Proficiency in Data cleaning & Transformation - Cleaning messy data, handling missing values, and transforming data into suitable formats for analysis.
Data Visualization: Ability to create insightful visualizations (charts, dashboards, maps) to communicate data-driven insights effectively. Exposure to tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik is highly desired
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify patterns, draw inferences, and solve business problems using data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of data professionals.
