Summary:
Oversees day-to-day activities of academic leadership recruitment and is an integral member of the UNC School of Medicine Dean's office. This position is responsible for establishing and expanding the UNC School of Medicine's employment brand through a high level of customer service for all stakeholders involved in the recruitment process. The Program Manager will manage the full cycle recruiting process for multiple, complex searches, create and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent, and ensure an excellent candidate experience.

• Bachelor's degree required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
• Five (5) years of program/project management in a recruitment environment required. Experience with academic leadership or healthcare recruitment preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
• Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
• Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve academic goals.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the complex candidate interview process. Work closely with HR regarding position posting. Maintain an unbiased and confidential recruitment process. Support the search committee and the search committee chair. Ensure implementation of best HR practices during the recruitment process.
- Develop and maintain advertising for academic leadership recruitment efforts. Analyze advertising effectiveness and implement new advertising and social media strategies. Actively utilizes social media to present culture and organization brand to potential candidates. Identifies and targets candidates through existing network/database, job postings, social media, job fairs, and networking events.
- Engages with candidates to bring them into the recruiting process, builds and maintains relationships. Continuously monitor and improve the candidate experience. Provide a high level of customer service to key stakeholders involved in the recruitment process including candidates, physician leaders and university executives. Provides timely updates to all constituencies.
- Develops and maintains recruiting materials, brochures, interview itineraries, mailings, etc. Assists in high level recruitment for vacancies by coordinating job postings and evaluating ROI and candidate quality. Responsible for managing and updating the candidate tracking system from posting to filled.
