Job Description

Cape Fox is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to join our team in support of a government customer. This position is contingent upon award. The Program Manager shall oversee projects from original concept through final implementation. The Program Manager is responsible for the performance of all task order work and will be co-located with the government POCs to provide services in support of the NGB.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages substantial contract support operations involving personnel at diverse locations
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities
  • Interfaces with Government managers including the, KO, COR, and the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR)
  • Under stringent timeframes, assembles and recruits' personnel necessary to perform assigned tasks
  • Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to effectively direct contract support activities
  • Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates
  • Ensures conformance to task specifications and contract provisions
  • Interprets policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates
  • As needed negotiates and makes binding decisions for the company
  • Develops work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for deliverable tracking and analysis
  • Manages the integration of all contract tasks and tracks and reviews deliverables
  • Demonstrates experience with preparing executive level briefs, summaries, presentations, situation reports, management reports and other high-level communications Includes the on- and off-government site Program Manager for the Prime, Deputy Program Manager, and Senior and Executive-level corporate managers located at corporate office locations
  • Manages the resources available, establish priorities and schedules based on Task Order requirements
  • Provides the interface with the KO, COR, TO COR, Senior Government leadership, in the form of briefs on project progress
  • Responsible for the hiring and dismissal, training, capability development, discipline, Contractor related incident investigations, dress code, safety, execution of processes and procedures required for security clearances, issue of required identifications (CAC), and location of the employees on their team
  • Provides expertise necessary to support tasks and prepares the workforce to support emerging requirements
  • Responsible for all aspects of contract support to ensure a balance of efficient and effective operations

Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ten years of progressive technical or managerial experience in information resources management
  • Six years of experience supervising and managing projects
  • Two years managing large and complex projects involving a large number of people in subordinate groups and diverse locations
  • Must be authorized for employment within the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must have demonstrated communications skills with all levels of management
