Description

SAIC's Naval Business Unit provides Program Management support to the Ship & Air Integrated Warfare (SAIW) Division which develops, delivers, and sustains communication electronics and combat systems to the Warfighter. SAIC provides comprehensive management support services to SAIW including project management, organizational management, post-award contract support, material acquisition support, as well as technical and systems engineering support.

We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Program Manager to manage and grow the Ship & Air Integrated Warfare Division Management Support program at Webster Field, St. Inigoes, Maryland supporting the prime customer. This position will serve to support the execution of the Navy Business Group mission as it aligns with SAIC's and the Customer's for Program Management initiatives.

This position will be located in the Patuxent River, MD general region. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities may Include but are not limited to:

• Regular interaction with the prime for continued review and development of personnel staffing to ensure all contract objectives are properly executed.
• Developing and submitting bi-weekly financial and monthly status reports to the prime .
• Maintaining prescribed financial controls and assuring the integrity of financial matters concerning subcontractor support.
• Coordinating efforts with supporting organizations including contracts, procurement, project control, finance, and human resources related to the staffing/funding of the contract.
• Regular interaction across all levels of management. Interactions may involve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading leadership and managers that result in the best business solution
• Creating and maintaining a collaborative environment conducive to the professional growth and development of staff and the free flow of information throughout the entire organization
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; Masters degree desired.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the field or in a related area with 3+ years in a leadership role. At least three of the most recent five years of experience must have been directly supporting project management functions.
• Active Secret clearance is required
• Ability to manage all aspects of a contract to include but not limited to: financial, reporting, personnel management, technical, planning, and subcontracting.
• Executive level liaison with company leadership as well as customer leadership on regular basis is required.
