Responsibilities*
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and ongoing management of the specialty and home delivery pharmacy program.
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing necessary workflows to meet growing and dynamic service needs within specialty and home delivery pharmacy.
- Identify, assess, and implement novel software and hardware solutions in coordination with area and Department leaders to drive efficiency, productivity, and service expansion.
- Focus on continuous improvement to identify improvement needs to drive programmatic efficiency and productivity to meet patient care and customer needs.
- Maintain physical systems and software to ensure peak efficiency and minimizing nonproductive downtime in partnership with health-system resources.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strong relationships
- Manage time in an effective yet flexible manner to meet area and D epartment needs .
- Perform other related duties as assigned based on area and Department needs.
Required Qualifications*
- Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
- Strong time management and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong, independent analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with large, diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with task scheduling, data reporting, and resource assignment
- Demonstrated experience with project management including tools to create, manage, and track progress
Desired Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Project Management Training or Certification
- Process Improvement Training
