About the Role

This position is a full-time position for a Deputy Program Manager for the M10 Booker Program (formerly known as Mobile Protected Firepower), reporting directly to the M10 Booker STS/Futures Program Manager.

This position is a key member of the Booker Program leadership team and will have a direct impact on the program's success. This is a fast paced and dynamic program that requires EXCELLENT communication, organization, and strategic thinking.

The Booker Program is continuing to grow with new contracts for future technology development/integration, Full Rate Production, and delivery of spare hardware to support fielding.

This position is focused on securing and executing new contracts in support of the M10 Booker program. This includes technology insertion and supports efforts on the recently awarded sustainment contract, establishing and executing the production spares contract, and support of the planning and preparation for Full Rate Production. This role requires coordination across the organization with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of key strategies for program success.
  • Support program control in planning, budgeting, and execution of the program.
  • Develop and implement program plans with product teams and functional management within program scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Lead proposal development and negotiations of STS projects with the USG customer.
  • Lead awarded efforts to be completed on time, within budget, and meeting all customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to manage purchases, negotiate with suppliers, and manage material deliveries to support program objectives for STS, Spares, and Full Rate Production contracts.
  • Participate in program risk management including identifying risk candidates and risk mitigation plans.
  • Work with the other members of the Booker Program Management Team to develop and foster a cohesive team, and to ensure USG customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Interface with and present to GDLS Executive Leadership and the USG customer.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Program Management, Production Management. Supply Chain Management. Engineering Project Management, Integrated Project Team (IPT) leadership or related understanding and experience required.
  • Customer interface experience with USG and/or external suppliers required.
  • Financial compliance audits experience desired.
  • Strategic thinking and planning preferred.
  • Risk management experience preferred.
  • Team / Matrix management experience preferred.
  • Proposal development experience desired.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to obtain DOD security clearance.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.
