Responsibilities

This position implements the On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program and manages employer recruiting processes, interacting with employers and students. It ensures compliance with employment outcomes data collection and reporting, including submissions to the ABA. This role also involves developing and administering surveys, compiling data on employer participation and graduate outcomes, and assisting with resource development, presentations, and JD Advisor coordination.
  • Responsible for implementing fall and spring OCI programs, including registration, applications, and scheduling. Interacts with employers and students on recruitment activities and processes. Assists the Director of Employer Recruitment with invitations and follow-up communication. Oversees the collection and distribution of application documents to employers and organizes interview scheduling. Creates surveys for students and employers on the OCI process and other survey instruments. Compiles survey results and prepares reports. Assists with updating resources, including the Career Search Handbook, policies, and CSO-related website and Canvas updates and design. Assists with job posts as needed.
  • Tracks graduate employment outcomes and prepares reports for NALP, ABA, and U.S. News. Oversees the collection and review of student surveys and documentation to ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Creates surveys, prepares, and submits reports, updates procedures based on changes in reporting requirements, and coordinates updates to the NALP Law School Profile.
  • Develops and demonstrates expertise in the function of the employer/student database used by the CSO, including running various reports to assist the office. Troubleshoots issues students and employers have with the database functions.
  • Periodically evaluates and makes recommendations on current and alternative vendors of employer/student information databases, and on maximizing the use of the student employer database.
  • Assists the Engagement Manager with coordinating JD Advisor engagement with students, including scheduling and recording advising notes in the database.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in a legal, career services, academic advising, educational or data management field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Flexibility to travel and/or attend events outside regular working hours.
  • A J.D. degree is a plus.
