Under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisor), in the California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM), the Management Services Technician (MST) will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for adhering the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The MST will assist CEQA program staff with multiple administrative duties in support of the program, including preparing CEQA related documentation for distribution and filing, interfacing with the State Clearing House, document editing, document and web accessibility, web page updates, data entry and processing, and tracking and reporting program work. Incumbent develops and maintains effective working relationships internally and externally and must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff and members of California's diverse community.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. The hybrid telework schedule will allow for up to three days of remote work per week depending on department needs.
