Project Engineer

The project aims to construct, own, and operate state-of-the-art granulated pig iron facilities. These facilities will supply metallics to electric arc furnaces. As a project engineer, their day will consist of 25% field work and 75% office work. In the field, they will inspect fund site work, taking pictures and documenting while in the office they will review drawings and collaborate with contractors. Required Skills & Experience

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

5-10 years of mechanical or electrical engineering experience on heavy industrial construction projects

Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications in variety of disciplines

Understanding and application of the Front-End Loading Process

5-10 years of experience with equipment replacement and process improvement

Working knowledge of project controls, project management, risk analysis, constructability reviews, construction, commissioning and start-up

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience as project engineer on a 50+ mil project

Utilize and Interpret 3D model in AutoCAD
