Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Electrical and Construction business unit in Baltimore, MD to support multi-million-dollar projects. The Project Engineer will assist and support the Project Manager on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
2-8 years of experience as a project engineer and bachelors in engineering discipline (compensation contingent on experience)
Proficient with change orders and take offs
Understand how to receive, review, forward and track status of submittals.
Be able to initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute Request for Information (RFI)
Experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point Programs
Ability to assist in management of project permit process.
Able to assist in preparations of bid packages and procurement.
Ability to update construction schedule based on project team input, project progress and materials delivery.
Understand change management, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing change orders
Proficient in price, track, and material orders
Be able to assist in preparation of monthly project status reports
Be able to participate in KPR (Key Project Review) meetings
Proficient in maintaining accurate contract documents
Ability to assist Senior Project Manager

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pluses:
Experience with Schedule Development / Managing (i.e. Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)
