Guardian Glass is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!
As a Project Engineer, you will join a team to deliver capital expenditure projects that have a significant impact on the strategic goals and financial performance of the organization. You will do this by leveraging your skills in developing and managing scope, schedule, and budgets for our capital projects.

What You Will Do
- Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for the life cycle of the project
- Coordinate with other project team members including operations, engineers, strategic sourcing, contractors, and vendors
- Ensure the project is developed & completed with optimal use of resources
- Identify & manage project risks and respective contingency plans
- Lead project development and execution with a safety-first mindset
- Communicate effectively & efficiently on the progress/status of project to the Project Manager
- Capture, utilize, share, and archive lessons learned
- Support procurement of goods and services for projects by leading the technical portion or the procurement process.
- Domestic and International Travel 20-50% (project phase dependent)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience as a Project Engineer
- Experience using Microsoft Project and/or P6 software
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Cyber Security, Process Networks, and/or Electrical Power
What Will Put You Ahead
- AutoCAD / AutoDesk Construction Cloud software experience
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline
- Experience in glass manufacturing and processing
