- Contributes to analyzing and solving routine problems
- Quoting of custom product requests
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for the assembly, final product testing and production problem diagnostics as required
- Mechanical/Electrical design of standard and custom product solutions
- Participate in new product development Align products with global compliance, safety and cybersecurity regulations
- Maintain awareness of intellectual property protection for products
- Prepare technical documentation, manuals, bulletins, sales tools and training material
- Participate in product launches
- Participate as a sales/service/customer training instructor and/or in other sales/customer related presentations
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Electrical Engineering required with mechanical and software experience considered a plus.
- 3+ years of mechanical/electrical product design or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of METTLER TOLEDO's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) polices and able to carry out work in accordance with PLM policies.
- Basic understanding of global product laws and regulations in applicable markets, especially W&M and safety.
- Basic Intellectual Property (IP) awareness and the ability to make IP protection layout for product lines.
