Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Analyst 3 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Liaison
Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. May develop and deliver presentations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors in related field and 6 years of relevant professional experience. 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
Communicate at the high level to Gov't/Program/Project/ and other stakeholders on the status on of material and vendor services.
Must be an independent problem solver.
Track and Articulate Procurement Scopes, BOE's, Procurement office sourcing through receiving.
Be familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Required PPE Ear Muffs, Face mask, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots

Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience. Master's Degree and 4 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
This position is first shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. 0-10% possible Travel- Once a week on site and as needed by Programs candidate will support.
