The successful candidate will support the Global Cybersecurity Policy team, which focuses on advancing public policy that strengthens customer and ecosystem-wide cybersecurity and resiliency at the intersection of geopolitics and emerging technologies. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, namely the product, security, and engineering teams, and engages with external stakeholders in government, industry, and civil society around the globe.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $43/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

Summary:
The successful candidate will support the Global Cybersecurity Policy team, which focuses on advancing public policy that strengthens customer and ecosystem-wide cybersecurity and resiliency at the intersection of geopolitics and emerging technologies. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, namely the product, security, and engineering teams, and engages with external stakeholders in government, industry, and civil society around the globe.
The Project Manager will work closely with the program owners to focus on:
- Plan and coordinate activities across the team's strategic priorities to help advance company policy priorities on cybersecurity and resilience through policy initiatives, communications efforts, and developing work plans to achieve objectives.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to key stakeholders in governments, industry, and civil society to help advance goals that promote good cybersecurity practices and advance digital peace.
- Support the Global Cybersecurity Policy Team's event management.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to discuss and advance complex policy concepts with diverse stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working on cutting-edge technology and security policy matters
- Comfortable working with a broad range of teams and diverse views and cultures, and experience in driving collaboration and consensus
- Attention to detail and willingness to experiment and try new things, and to learn quickly from failure and/or mistakes
Job qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience such as working on technology, security, policy, or international relations issues
- The applicant must have experience and/or commensurate educational background focused on developing, assessing, and/or shaping public policy
- This includes policy strategy development and relationship management and research skills
