Insight Global is looking for cleared Project Managers sitting in NW, DC to support a large government client. Responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning and Direction:

* Align project with agency goals and national priorities: Translate broad innovation mandates into concrete project objectives with measurable outcomes.

* Conduct environmental scans and competitor analysis: Identify relevant trends, potential partners, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.

* Develop innovation roadmap: Chart the project's course, outlining key milestones, potential pivots, and risk mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management and Engagement:

* Cultivate diverse stakeholder buy-in: Actively engage stakeholders across sectors (government, industry, academia) fostering collaboration and consensus-building.

* Navigate complex regulatory landscapes: Ensure project activities comply with relevant regulations while advocating for necessary flexibilities to support innovation.

* Manage stakeholder expectations: Proactively communicate project progress, potential challenges, and adjustments while maintaining transparency and trust.

Communication and Outreach:

* Articulate the project's value proposition: Communicate the project's benefits and

impact to a variety of audiences in clear and compelling language.

* Develop effective communication channels: Utilize diverse communication channels to engage stakeholders, build public awareness, and share lessons learned.

* Measure and communicate project impact: Track and evaluate the project's impact on its intended beneficiaries and broader society.

* Embrace risk management: Develop strategies to anticipate and mitigate risks associated with innovative approaches.

* Promote a culture of learning and adaptation: Foster continuous learning and adaptation within the project team to embrace new information and adjust strategies.

* Build capacity for future innovation: Contribute to building internal capacity within the agency to sustain and expand innovation efforts.

Project Planning and Initiation:

* Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP) aligned with

federal acquisition regulations and PMI best practices.

SUB - CONTRACTING AND ACQUISITIONS

* Define project scope, schedule, objectives, deliverables, and timelines quality metrics.

* Identify and manage project stakeholders.

* Embrace risk management: Develop strategies to anticipate, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with innovative approaches. Establish risk register and risk responses based on risk category.

* Establish change control process.

* Develop project document repository and knowledge management framework.

Project Execution and Control:

* Manage project tasks, resources, and budget.

* Monitor project progress and identify potential deviations from the plan.

* Control project quality via inspections or other measures.

* Implement corrective actions to address issues and risks.

* Track and communicate project performance metrics.

* Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

* Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance

* PMP Certification

* Experience working on technical programs within an enterprise environment

* Strong experience utilizing MS Project

* Understanding how to work between functional and matrixed organizations

* Experience managing projects with high performance in risk management, variances and managed

* Strong communication and organization skills
