Position Summary:
As a member of the Office of Chief of Staff Operations team, the Project Manager is part of a shared services team that provides project management, data analysis, planning and logistics support, and procurement services. The Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting various initiatives that enhance the overall efficiency, climate, and culture of the central office. This individual will manage and support a range of projects, collaborate with other departments, and help develop and codify standard operating procedures to ensure cohesive and effective operations across the District.
The Project Manager is a collaborative, and highly organized individual who understands district policies and procedures as well as the strategic direction of the District. This role requires a dynamic individual who can proactively participate in district-wide planning, coordinate projects, and help foster a continuous improvement culture, ensuring alignment with the District's strategic plan priorities and facilitating smooth operations within the division. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management and a passion for educational administration.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in project planning/management
- Proficiency in Office 365 environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Prior experience working for a school district is preferred but not required
Essential Functions:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Project Manager will:
Project Management
- Provide short and long term project management services, which includes:
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate project activities and resource to meet project goals and deadlines
- Produce high quality project plans, reports, detailed project notes, presentations and data displays for review by District stakeholders
- Responsible for holding stakeholders accountable using goals-tracking structures for tasks, deliverables, and adherence to project timelines ensuring projects stay on-track
Strategic Planning Support:
- Assist in the development and refinement of the district's strategic plan.
- Ensure alignment of projects and initiatives with the District's strategic priorities.
Progress Tracking and OKR Implementation:
- Track progress towards organizational priorities using the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project milestones and outcomes.
Climate and Culture Improvement:
- Provide thought partnership on initiatives to strengthen and promote climate and culture across central office, and then provide project management on the execution of these initiatives
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and mutual support.
Standard Operating Procedures:
- Help codify and develop standard operating procedures across the central office to develop an organizational way of work and promote inter-departmental collaboration.
Training and Professional Development:
- Develop and deliver standards, trainings, and feedback loops to build positive and professional relationships at schools and in the central office.
- Support and coordinate the professional development efforts of principals and assistant principals.
Systems and Processes:
- Build and maintain systems and processes that ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Develop mechanisms for regular feedback and continuous improvement.
Internal Consulting and Support:
- Provide internal consulting services to central office departments using a shared services model.
- Help manage the district's central office hub
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
