A Snapshot of Your Day
The Project Support Engineer will be a vital member of the assembly and testing team in Alpharetta, Ga. The position will be involved with the project during all phases (proposals, design, engineering, assembly, testing, and commissioning).

The role will be accountable for the following:
  • Crucial safety and reliability items are not missed during all project phases.
  • Verify that the designed and engineered logic is consistent with the control narrative and flowcharts.
  • Verify that all testing is performed as outlined in the testing documentation.
  • Ensure that Quality Control documentation is completed and meets the end customers' requirements.
This role will directly support the SE GS NA CD SO REC - Hotline and Testing Manager. The daily work activities will be coordinated through the Testing Lead Engineer. The Testing group is part of the Service Operations Group and is where all projects must pass through before being presented to the customer for acceptance.
How You'll Make an Impact
Job tasks and functions will include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining inventory of all testing equipment, include calibrated test equipment.
  • Work with calibration vendor to ensure all instruments are calibrated in a timely manner and per specifications.
  • Work with testing team to pull stock items from warehouse per project BOM.
  • Prepare shipments of tools for use by field service engineers at remote job sites.
  • Receive tools back from the field and ensure they still function properly and are ready for the next shipment out.
  • Perform safety inspections on equipment used in the testing facility.
  • Maintain training and qualification records of all REC employees.
  • Work with Quality team to ensure all documentation is per customer requirements. This includes any nuclear standards.
What You Bring
  • Associates Degree in a technical field or combined equivalent of education and work experience. Up to 2 or more years' industry experience.
  • Qualified applicants must be willing to travel up to 10%.
  • All candidates must be willing to provide personal information for background checks at various Power Plants, refineries, and compressor stations worldwide.
  • Candidate must have a valid drivers license and have no travel restrictions.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
