Job Description
Are you interested in joining the fast paced environment of fleet support Prototype Safety Systems is hiring within the Submarine Power Plant Mechanical subdivision. Join a high performing team that has design cognizance of the safety systems and containment of the Kesselring Site Prototypes. Opportunities include trouble record resolution of emergent issues that support ongoing operations; containment testing of the structures and components at the Prototypes; in-service inspection program development and disposition of data; safety component evaluation, specification, and testing; and ensuring industrial work is executed safely in the vicinity of the operating plants. Working in a teaming environment, the group multitasks to handle a multitude of emergent and longer-term projects in parallel.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.

$62,000.00 - $94,900.00 annually

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.
