Job Duties

This role is responsible for protecting hospital-controlled properties and equipment and providing a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure 24-hour coverage. This role will primarily work night shift. Also, provides "first response" to all emergencies and patient elopements, and facilitates communications through the hospital switchboard, as needed. Duties will also include switchboard/mailroom coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful applicant must have a valid Virginia Drivers' license. Must be able to work nights, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Considerations

CPR or First Responder's Certification, basic firefighter/EMT skills and/or DCJS certification in law enforcement, S.C.O.P., military or corrections experience.
