Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Dallas, TX onsite (needs local or who can relocate need to go to office 2 days a week)

Minimum Skills Required: Python and SQL

This role is a highly technical position - considered a technical expert in system implementation - with an emphasis on providing design and developing warehouse expertise.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Experience in the Software Implementation Lifecycle (SILC) including collection of requirements, documentation of specifications, application design and implementation.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements and design
• Extensive data warehouse and ETL development expertise using star schema design and real-time data loads
• Designing innovative system solutions and software development techniques
• Provide testing and production support as necessary.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years' experience in application development and system analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake and Python in a Data Warehouse platform.
• Dimension modelling knowledge in Data Warehouse with slowly change data capture
• Python scripts for Data processing.
• Knowledge of scheduling through CA AutoSys or similar schedulers.
• Experience with load strategy and data validation for large data warehouse
• Good knowledge in loading real time data warehousing for intraday ETL processes
• Experience with database design of massively parallel processing system like Snowflake
• Database performance tuning experience
• Very strong UNIX skills and SQL experience
• Good SQL writing capabilities with PG SQL
• Perform Unit Testing and assist Enterprise Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing teams
• Experience with change control systems like GIT and/or Bitbucket.
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
