A client in the Houston, TX area is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. This person will be

responsible for creating systems to automate the validation and verification process of software components and products. They will also be ensuring systematic assessment of defined functions or workflows on each product build, and detect regression due to code change; perform tests that cannot be done manually. A typical day will involve designing and developing automated tests, review and edit user documentation for technical correctness, and review software requirements documentation to provide input to improve product effectiveness, integration and usability. He/She will be working closely with the development team, so strong communication is a requirement.

Required Skills & Experience

3-10 years of experience in quality assurance testing

Experience developing and executing automated test scripts in Shell or Python scripting

Experience with both automation (Selenium) and manual testing

Experience with development and improvement of DevOps processes, adding value through optimization, automation, and effective reporting

Experience testing in a cloud environment

API testing Experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

GCP Cloud platform experience preferred
