Quality Assurance Post Repair Technician, Cybertruck, Quality

The ideal candidate for this position will not only have strong analytical skills (problem-solving, "soft" skills ), but also mainly demonstrating attention to detail and some automotive mechanical experience ("hard skills").


Responsibilities

• Work closely with End of Line Technicians establishing processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high-quality post repairs
• Understanding work procedure and torque specification
• Having an eye for attention to detail with interior and exterior defects (paint mutilation, cleanliness, etc.)
• Verifying post repair quality check based to determine pass/fail before final gate
• Working closely with leadership to monitor quality, determine the corrective actions and countermeasures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, with End of Line and Quality Assurance leadership teams
• Take part in an ongoing optimization of the Quality Assurance with respect to both cost and production

Requirements

• Experience within quality systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience with extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Strong aptitude for mechanical torque tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting service manual
• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Familiarity with basic MS Word/Excel is required
• Ability to use technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data
