An employer in the Titusville, FL market is looking for Quality Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for dispositioning of non-conforming materials. This person will be paired with a Quality Specialist and assigned to a work center to support operations teams. This person will perform quality close outs, inspections, continuous improvement projects, and day-to-day production support. 80% of this persons time will be spent dispositioning nonconformance materials and helping with manufacturing escalations on the floor.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering
2-5 years of experience dispositioning non-conformances of materials
Experience with root cause corrective actions or leading/facilitating root cause corrective actions
Experience with quality close outs, inspections, continuous improvements
Experience with Microsoft Suite, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel (pulling reports and data metrics)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

1st Article or Inspection planning software package experience
Aerospace, automotive or medical device industry experience
