L3Harris is looking for an experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. This role will:

  • Manage projects or processes with general supervision.
  • Communicate with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedur
  • Recommend enhancements to systems and processes.
  • Work to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with impact on departmental results.


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) activities associated with one or more projects with general supervision as part of a cross functional integrated program team to ensure compliance to customer contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as conformance to AS9100 and associated industry standard requirements.
  • Own the Quality Work Package deliverables including Quality Assurance Planning for both new and existing products for the end-to-end product lifecycle as an active QA representative on Project and Program teams.
  • Ensure timely completion of QA deliverables that meet the company standards for Quality to ensure zero product quality escapes.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends and convey meaningful information regarding Quality performance to internal and external customers.
  • Own the technical problem solving for issues that may arise on projects and programs throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle providing project and program teams with clear, consistent, and timely feedback as it relates to contractual and/or regulatory exposure providing innovative solutions to effectively resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Interface with customers, including DCMA, for all Program / Project / Product related Quality matters within scope of responsibility.
  • Provide oversight for product acceptance criteria, disposition of nonconforming materials, and measurement system evaluations, as applicable


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Proficient with 8D/5-Why's, or other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Background and experience in manufacturing operations (Electronics and/or mechanical).
  • Customer service oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word software.
  • Experience with Hardware Acceptance Review processes.
  • ASQ certifications.
