SRG Global is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Covington, GA!

We are seeking a quality engineering professional with a passion for customer focus and creating value through continuous improvement in product and process. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a "hands-on" position that will work across the organization.

The role of the Quality Engineer is to improve Customer Satisfaction, and support/ lead plant Quality improvements.

What You Will Do

• Improve and protect the customer's scorecard
• Respond to customer portals for corrective actions
• Provide engineering support to resolve customer concerns
• Identify root cause and corrective action for quality concerns
• Support new product launches with Engineering team
• Work with plant production team and drive improvements
• Support APQP team for plant quality documents to customers/ Quality contact for APQP
• Provide guidance and support to plant APQP technician

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience working in a Quality function in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading projects
• Experience trouble-shooting in manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Knowledge of quality systems (Ex.: IATF 16949, ISO 9001 or TS 16949)
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience working in the automotive industry
